yes they do and they keep adding to them. there were only 7 at one time, then 12 ,then 15, then 20, then 24, then 27 then 28. The church keeps adding to it's beliefs. They discuss things things and change things and ammend things, being a laymen you my not be aware of that.All I want is for people to realize that an organization such as the SDA denomination has a set of beliefs and standards. And because of that, they adopted a name so that all could identify them that hold unto those beliefs.
This is not an offical SDA forum, you need to get that. If you don't want these types of discussions then Go to Club Adventist. It comes with territory here, you can always leave. As far as the "house divided" dictators use the same tatics, it is called "brainwashing". When you are not hearing both sides of the story ,you are being brainwashed. The SDA church could tell you anything and you would believe it. You assume the SDA denomination will allways do good and tell the truth, so consequently you don't think for yourselfAnd like any organization, membership is granted to those who take an oath to uphold, practice and defend those beliefs because it is understood that a house divided against itself cannot stand.

The criticizms of the SDA chruch have been around since the since before 1844 with the millerite movement. It is nothing new. Then, after you have listened, you can counter if you have some evidence or take time to formulate an answer.What then should happen to a member who at some point decides that they no longer agree with all of those standards, practices and beliefs? Should they start attacking those other members who decide to stay true to those beliefs?
Should they go out into the community and begin to bash that organization to others outside that group and then expect warm and fuzzy feelings from the faithful members?

This is hog wash, you need to get a life all you have to do is look at the jews when when jesus was here. They were deepely divided and yet they were the choosen people. I used to be a traditional SDA and it was such a burden. As far as the pain you feel you, it is all in your mind. No one appointed you the savior of the SDA church so why do you fight. give up, when you are dead the war is over. Ignore the post if there is no fight they will go away?[ Many years ago, before post modern ethics took over, a family name was of utmost value. Every member of that family was careful not to bring disgrace upon that family name. The parents established the foundation of what that family would stand for and how the community would view them. Love for their parents kept those kids happily obeying those principles.
But once a child, thru the selfishness of rebellion,
acted or spoke in a way contrary to that family name and brought division to it's harmony---that member was 'disowned'--BANISHED from the family circle. They forfieted the right to carry the family name or residue within the family home. Remember Cain's banishment. (are you nuts, Cain was banished for MURDER,)
Are you beginning to see Ice, how we Traditionals feel about those who thru rebellion, no matter how sincere they may be, have brought disgrace to our church? Can you begin to feel our pain to have to constantly defend our church family against these endless attacks? Just as the family name has value-I feel the same way about the name Seventh-day Adventist. God gave us this name(hog wash)--it MEANS something to those who understand her mission. There cannot be TWO or three or four Seventh-day Adventist churches or forums, there is only ONE!

The SDA church has multiple views it is called maturity.But in the meantime-I pray that CF will divide the forums just as our house has been divided by those who have left the body of the church.

I agree with you. However, there seems to be some history here. The OP had previously left the forum because of similar attacks by the person he outed in this thread. When he returned it appears that the attacks continued. He finally decided that the individual has gone too far. It is a pity our discussions have to come to this.I think you all need a time out.
Starting a thread just to call someone out is a guaranteed way of getting them to continue fighting. Someone that doesn't want to fight doesn't do that.
People say things in anger that they wouldn't normally say. That is not the time to get them to keep saying those things.
