Hebrews 4:12: "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." KJV
For the Word that God speaks is alive and active; it cuts more keenly than any two-edged sword: it strikes through to the place where soul and spirit meet, to the innermost intimacies of a man's being: it exposes the very thoughts and motives of a man's heart. JBP
GMI spoke of what God spoke from the beginning, and she was right! God
seperated the light from the darkness through His Word! And God is still busy seperating the light from the darkness, because as Jesus, Himself told us, Lights has no fellowship with darkness.
Today God is still seperating light from darkness and sheep from goats; right from wrong, good from evil. Today God is busy cleaning, purging and purifying The Church. He is preparing the bride for the great wedding and feast that is so quickly approaching. He is preparing a Bride that is clean and pure and without spot or blemish or wrinkle.
I am glad that I am part of that Church and God is busy purifying me as well. He is cleaning all the darkness out of my light and inspecting my heart with Light. He is taking away all my sins and renewing my heart for Him. He is replacing the evil in my life with good. He is replacing the darkness in my heart with Light and filling me with His Love and His Peace.
I care not what others think or say. I care what Jesus thinks and what He says. I care that one day I will hear Him say, "Enter thou into the Joy of thy Lord." I want to hear Him say, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant."
But I have to ask, "Can He say that to me now?" Because if He can't say that now, what will change, that willl make it possible for Him to say that to me then? For indeed, I do not know that my next breath will not be taken standing before Him.
So I know that I must prepare myself and STAY prepared every moment of my life till I come to stand before Him. And I prepare myself in the Light of His Word. For it is only His Word that is sharp enough to cut asunder all those things that do not belong in my life, and to scrape my soul clean.
No I don't need to go to purgatory to have the impurities in my life burned up. All I need to do is hold them up to the Light of His Word, and the heat from that Light will burn the away, and make me clean and purify my heart and fill it with His Love!
May God call us to repentence, and prepare us to stand before Him with confidence. And when He asks us by what right do we claim a place in His Heaven, may we say with Bold confidence, "Because Jesus Paid it ALL."
May God bless each one who reads This, His Word, and may It accomplish the purpose whereto He sent it!
