We must keep ourselves pure, no matter how depraved society becomes around us, and no matter how great the temptation.

James 1:12 Blessed (happy, to be envied) is the man who is patient under trial and stands up under temptation, for when he has stood the test and been approved, he will receive [the victor's] crown of life which God has promised to those who love Him.

They Refused to Acknowledge God.

Such people are antichrists, for they have denied
the Father and the Son. Anyone who denies the
Son doesn’t have the Father either.

Refusing to Acknowledge God as God,
or Christ as Savior, is to Deny Him.

Matthew 26:69-70-NLT . . .
“You were one of those with JESUS the Galilean.”
But Peter denied it in front of everyone.
“I don’t know what you are talking about,” he said.

When we are Ashamed of God or Christ,
we deny Him.

Titus 1:16-NLT . . .
Such people claim they know God, but they deny Him
by the way they live. They are despicable and disobedient,
worthless for doing anything good.

We can Deny God by saying that we know Him
and then living as though we don’t.
