Hebrews 13

1Keep on loving each other as brothers and sisters. 2Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it. 3Remember those in prison as if you were their fellow prisoners, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.

For I am with you" —the declaration of the LORD of Hosts. 5 "[This is] the promise I made to you when you came out of Egypt, and My Spirit is present among you; don't be afraid."

6 For the LORD of Hosts says this: "Once more, in a little while, I am going to shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land. 7 I will shake all the nations so that the treasures of all the nations will come, and I will fill this house with glory," says the LORD of Hosts. 8 "The silver and gold belong to Me"—the declaration of the LORD of Hosts. 9 "The final glory of this house will be greater than the first," says the LORD of Hosts. "I will provide peace in this place" —the declaration of the LORD of Hosts.



Israel had been in exile in Babylon for 70 years. Now they were coming out and rebuilding their beloved city, Jerusalem. Though this was spoken to them, the same Spirit is speaking to us. The principles are the same.



Fear not, My Spirit is present among you. Work, for I am with you. Do the work I've called you to. Be faithful to that which I've called you to.




And yes, could it be, the glory of the church in the last days will exceed that of what was recorded in the book of Acts?

Romans 8:26-27

So too the [Holy] Spirit comes to our aid and bears us up in our weakness; for we do not know what prayer to offer nor how to offer it worthily as we ought, but the Spirit Himself goes to meet our supplication and pleads in our behalf with unspeakable yearnings and groanings too deep for utterance. 27And He Who searches the hearts of men knows what is in the mind of the [Holy] Spirit [what His intent is], because the Spirit intercedes and pleads [before God] in behalf of the saints according to and in harmony with God's will.

When we do our Work for the LORD as opposed to
other people, we can Work with more Enthusiasm
and Energy!!
Doing Work for the LORD Means that you are Working
to Please Him and His Standards. Trying to Emulate
the way HE would do the Work helps us see how
we can truly Influence those around us!

Our Energies are well spent when we are Doing Good.

Hebrews 12

joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising shame, and hath
sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Philippians 2:3 Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; 4 do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others. NASB

We see each one of us are to esteem the other higher than ourselves. Does this mean they are higher? No. It means we are to treat them highly, as of great value. Does this diminish our value? Well, let's look at Jesus.

Jesus, considered us more important. He left heaven for us, and gave himself up to be treated brutally so can be freed from sin and all its bondages. Did his lowering Himself diminish His value? I should think not! He is now ever more precious to us.

We are not to count our lives as something to be held onto, but rather to lay down in service for others.

to separate us from the Love of GOD that is Revealed in CHRIST JESUS
our LORD.

GOD never intended for us to be Alone.
HE has promised us that HE will always
be there. Nothing can Separate us from Him.
HE intended for us to have a Human as
well as a Spiritual Relationship.

We Must have Faith in What JESUS CHRIST has
Done for us in Order to be Reconciled with GOD!!

How amazing this is...that God reconciled us. HE reconciled US. He didn't have to. He didn't owe it to us. He did it out of LOVE.
How amazing He is.

There's a an old song I've been listening to lately,(by Wayne Watson) and it brings me to tears. This is just the chorus:

Offer up the sacrifice
Creation sent forth the call
One holy sacrifice
One life to pay for the fall

Offer up the Sacrifice
The innocent One must be slain
SomeOne to pay the price
And bring man back to God again.


Again, how amazing. He gave all and He did it all for love.

It's very wise to consider the poor. And it is the command of our Lord, the command of love.

1 John 3:17 But whoever has the world's goods, and sees his brother in need and closes his heart against him, how does the love of God abide in him? 18 Little children, let us not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and truth.
