I posted this somewhere in a scripture share thread, but I don't think it was this one. I think these two verses go together perfectly! HE is our reward. Alleluia!

mere humans and turn their Hearts away
from the LORD.”

Oh, please help us against our enemies,
for all Human Help is Useless.

Psalm 118:9 . . .
It is better to Trust the LORD
than to put confidence in princes.

Isaiah 2:22 . . .
Stop putting your Trust in mere humans.
They are as Frail as Breath.
How can they be of Help to anyone???

Many people in the Bible whom we consider to be
“Pillars of Faith” had Moments of Doubt. The Key
is to never Give Up on our Faith and to Always
Ask if, over time, our Lives have been Moving
Closer to or further away from GOD!
Even during Moments of Doubt,
you must Invest the Effort and Discipline
to Allow your Faith to Grow.

Don't seek His hand, seek His face.

I awoke this morning and was going over scriptures that have been speaking to me, building myself up in the faith. I was just reading, in my "waking up state", and as I continued I got into scriptures that were prayers, scriptures focusing on the LORD. I saw right away these were the ones to put first. There was an immediate change in my spirit, an immediate connection and entrance into the presence of God.

Scriptures like these come first. Any scriptures that get me directly focusing on the LORD and into prayer. The ones you pick are the ones that usher you into the presence of the LORD. I have many more, but this gives you the idea. Psalm 27 is a good one to start with too.
Psalm 57:1 BE MERCIFUL and gracious to me, O God, be merciful and gracious to me, for my soul takes refuge and finds shelter and confidence in You; yes, in the shadow of Your wings will I take refuge and be confident until calamities and destructive storms are passed.
2 I will cry to God Most High, Who performs on my behalf and rewards me [Who brings to pass His purposes for me and surely completes them]!
3 He will send from heaven and save me from the slanders and reproaches of him who would trample me down or swallow me up, and He will put him to shame.
Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!
God will send forth His mercy and loving-kindness and His truth and faithfulness. AMP

Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. NLT

Then ones like these can be meditated upon.
Proverbs 13:11 Wealth [not earned but] won in haste or unjustly or from the production of things for vain or detrimental use [such riches] will dwindle away, but he who gathers little by little will increase [his riches]. AMP

Wealth from get-rich-quick schemes quickly disappears;
wealth from hard work grows over time. NLT

Philippians 4:19 My God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

John 14:13,14 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it.

1 Kings 2:3 Keep the charge of the Lord your God, walk in His ways, keep His statutes, His commandments, His precepts, and His testimonies, as it is written in the Law of Moses, that you may do wisely and prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn NKJV

Bring all the Tithes into the storehouse so there
will be enough food in my Temple. If you do, . . .
I will open the Windows of Heaven for you.
I will pour out a Blessing so Great you won’t
have enough room to take it in!

Let me prove it to you!

We should Give because GOD commands it.
While we should never Give just to get
something in return (for that Violates Giving as an act of Love),
GOD does Promise Bountiful Blessings for
those who Obey this Command.

Luke 21:1-4 . . .
“I assure you,” HE said, “this poor widow has given
more than all the rest of them.”

The Model for all Giving is the Heart of GOD!!
HE Loved so much that HE Gave, not merely
possessions or money, but HIS Only SON to
Redeem a Lost World!!

Through Prayer we Praise Our Mighty GOD!!

I have two rose bushes in front of the house which I pruned last spring, cutting them back significantly. They are flourishing now, thicker than ever. Every day I see new leaves. In the same way, let us cut out all things that are dead that more life can spring forth. Let us prune the soil of our lives that more life may spring forth.

watering it carefully.
Day and night I will watch so no one can harm it.

John 15:1 I AM the True Vine, and My Father is the Vinedresser. 2 Any branch in Me that does not bear fruit [that stops bearing] He cuts away (trims off, takes away); and He cleanses and repeatedly prunes every branch that continues to bear fruit, to make it bear more and richer and more excellent fruit.
3 You are cleansed and pruned already, because of the word which I have given you [the teachings I have discussed with you].
4 Dwell in Me, and I will dwell in you. [Live in Me, and I will live in you.] Just as no branch can bear fruit of itself without abiding in (being vitally united to) the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you abide in Me.
5 I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from Me [cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing.



We see it is the Word that cleanses us. Cleanse is a more accurate translation than prune. It is not calamities that cleanse or prune us. It is His Word.

That's my two cents.
God's Word is untold wealth.
