Exodus 19:5-6

And ye shall be unto Me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words that thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

Jesus is my victory! He is the way, the truth, the life in me that allows me to exist in this world, which by the way is where He put me, and He would never put me where He didn't intend to keep me safe.

Psalms 20:5-7 (KJV) 5 We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the LORD fulfil all thy petitions. 6 Now know I that the LORD saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand. 7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.

Exodus 19:5-6

Isn't that simply beautiful? We are His peculiar treasure.
That's His design, who are we to argue with it.

The Holman Bible calls us His treasured possessions, as God directs Moses to share this with the chosen. God reminds His people that He has carried them on eagles' wings to Himself. Wow, carried us right to Him. Doesn't that make you want to obey?

4 'You yourselves have seen what I did to Egypt, and how I carried you on eagles' wings and brought you to myself.

5 Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession. Although the whole earth is mine,

6 you will be for me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.' These are the words you are to speak to the Israelites." Ex 19:4-6 HCSB

He saved us, not on the basis of good deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy,

by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,
