  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

We didn't do anything special, but I have read some stories of wrapping up a positive pg test, an empty "grandparents" frame with "coming in ____ [month due] note included, a small gift book especially for grandparents (the type you find in bookstores), wearing a "Baby" maternity shirt and waiting for the inevitable surprise when they notice.....just a few that come to mind. I'm sure the other ladies will have some as well:)

well none of us ever did anything special... although with the first grandchild my sister in law was going to say something at Christmas, but that was when Ken and I anounced out engagement, and she didn't want to ditract from our anouncement... so she waited a month, and called on mine and my dad's birthday with the news... the funny thing is I was wondering at Christmas time if something was going on...

anyway the closest I have come to doing anything was this time arround... first sister in law found out she was pregnate, then my little sister found out she was pregnate... I was laughing saying I was the only one that wasn't. well a couple months later I found out I was... I called my mom and said something about the trend continuing... still can't believe it sometimes... then I feel him move...
