I just wanted to share some of the things that God's doing in my life:
1. A little over a year ago, my husband got laid off from his job. To make a long story short, we had been praying prior to that about our stock trading and that layoff allowed him to do full time stock trading. We have had our ups and downs, but God has been blessing and teaching us a great deal about money....many things we never thought we needed to learn, but really need to. This has allowed him to be able to stay home and bond with our infant son.
2. Neither my husband or I come from Christian homes. We are the only Christians in our families. I have been saved since I was 7, now 36. My husband was saved 5 yrs ago. I've been praying for my family for 29 years. We've been praying for my husband's family and a couple weeks ago, his mom said she was interested in learning more about God. I got to share how to get saved with her, but she didn't want to receive Christ as her Savior yet. Still, for her to be open to hearing and asking is a miracle.
3. God continually provides freelance work in videography for my husband in addition to the stock trading at just the right time. It's truly amazing how we are getting the business and I would have to say it's all God. God gives the increase.
4. Although I've struggled with weight loss & health over the years, I am thankful I have not reached my goals yet because through these struggles, I have learned so much and that learning is helping my family better their health, especially my little girl who has severe eczema.
5. Although I'm not thrilled about my engineering job, I am grateful to have that because it provides us with steady income & health benefits while we get our stock trading business and videography business off the ground on a more steady income basis. God has been developing and refining my character in this job, and it's been tough.
6. My children are healthy, for the most part. We love them so much. And God is teaching us so much through them. God also gives us much grace & mercy.
7. God gives us time together as a family, as a couple. We try to balance our relationship with our obligations. It's hard because sometimes our society tells us that we need to have a bunch of things and thankfully, we do not typically fall into that trap.
8. I praise God for such a wonderful husband. After a miserably failed first marriage, I did not deserve God's mercy upon my life in terms of marriage, yet He brought this awesome man into my life and have given me 2 beautiful, wonderful children with him. My husband is my compliment and I his. We make an awesome team. He is my best friend, my lover, the father of our children, my business partner, my fun mate, my prayer partner, my dream/vision partner.
9. I praise God for wonderful Christian music. I am so blessed by the wonderful music out there these days. There are so many talented & gifted artists, and they so bless my life.
10. God provides us daily with safety and protection.
11. I am thankful there is a forum that I can join with other Christians and talk about Christ.
Well, there are tons more stuff, but my family is awake from their naps, so must go.
