This evening, I went to our local Christmas parade and shared the Gospel with a few people using my flip chart. When the parade was about to start, everyone lined up along the road, and I realized it was a great chance to hand out million-dollar Gospel tracts. I went down the line, giving them out, and almost everyone took one. It was so easy and fast—I couldn’t believe it! 300 tracts in about 15 minutes. WOW!!
If you have a parade coming up, make sure to bring some cool, attention-grabbing Gospel tracts to share.
One thing that made me sad, though, was that there wasn’t a single float about Jesus or His birth. Parades are such an awesome chance to remind people about the incredible sacrifice Jesus made for us. So, if you can, get your church to celebrate the awesome sacrifice Jesus made by being a witness in your community. Make a float.
