I was looking for this one quite a while -- hard to figure out how to search it out from all the others. There must be so many wonderful ones! This one was in my mind today a lot, along with another. First, the one just lately playing over and over in my head:

And then this lovely one I only hear once in a while at our church, and wanted so much to find, and after getting help from a friend at church, we tracked down that exact one our choir sings in an youtube version so I can share it:

The Armenian "Kyrie Eleison" as arranged by Komitas, prayed by Nelly Gasparyan in the Cathedral of the Holy Cross (completed 921 AD) on Aghtamar Island in Lake Van, Turkey. The Cathedral is officially classed by the Turkish government as a museum, but permission was first given for prayers to be held inside of it in 2010, and on September 8, 2013 a group of Armenian boys were baptized in it, marking the first time that a baptism had been performed in Van since 1915.

Beautiful...
I just can't get enough of these. I'm listening today to the first one over and over. I don't think i've listened so much to so few songs....possibly ever. The words are just so resonating with me.

Lord have mercy
Christ have mercy
Hear our cry and heal our land
Let kindness lead us to repentance
Bring us back again
For Your Name is great
And Your heart is grace
Kyrie Eleison
Over all You reign
You alone can save
Kyrie Eleison
Lord have mercy
Christ have mercy on us now
Who is this God
Who pardons all our sin
So ready to forgive
You delight to show Your mercy

Oh, praise the God of Mercy and Grace!
Praise Him in the highest heavens
Praise Him all you creatures!

We sing this at church during ordinary time. It is loosely based on the Byzantine litany. I wish we had the cool modern instrumentation, but we use an organ (we do have a piano but most people at church don't prefer it):
