A small bug that was on my kitchen counter at my old place up north. I looked it up and it appears to be a pseudoscorpion.
It was pretty tiny so I'm a little surprised that the picture turned out so well.

Yep, its the first time I've ever seen one, so when I saw the pincers it freaked me out a little bit. Which is why I snapped a picture because it made me curious. The pincers didn't seem very functional though, they were just kind of there and didn't seem to move at all.

Here are a few photos from my trip up to Inverness:
I ignored a 'Path Closed' sign and so had to find a way other than the closed bridge. I'd made it half-way across the river on rocks but lacked courage to jump the fast deep bit. I ended up going back and getting lost briefly in the forest.
I was walking through a small village called Inver. The 'yes' posters refer to our Referendum (vote) on Thursday as to whether Scotland should become independent of the UK.
