Botanical gardens yesterday. These were the favorites.
Then we went to see M at work and scoured the beach for arrowheads (you can find them after a storm) and we lucked out.

You know, if I was smart I would have taken a picture of the post with all the info. But I'm not. And I didn't. I do know it's a bloom from a succulent. A very large and very old succulent. That bloom was probably 4 feet tall and 10 inches wide.
