kool beanz. the way i had understood it though, was that instead of shakespear actually having a hand in the translation, the translators used this as sort of a nod to shakespear.

the thing is you go to psalms 46, count down to the 46th word from the top (not including selah) and the 46th word from the end of the chapter (again, not including selah). you then get two words, shake and spear. they key to the number 46, is that the KJV was translated, or was finished being translated, in 1611...shakespear turned 46 years old in 1610....during the time this was being translated.

i find it very interesting...and it makes me remember that while the Word is Divinely inspired...that translators still play a big role in the words i'm reading off the page. thats part of the reason i'm so enjoying learning to read Hebrew, so i can read for myself what was originally written in its original language!
