Anyone else buy Shadow Ops: Red Mercury?
I got it as soon as it came out (In Australia) and played it and completed it, but I felt, as games go these days, it was nothing special. I even felt it lacked many aspects that I now just take for granted in other games, especially in multiplayer.
But than brings me on to the wierd part. I did a look on the web today on Ataris site and the ad for SO:RM caught my eye. I read it, and it said that the Multiplayer has "Plant the bomb" came mode as well as all the others.
Now I KNOW that I hadn't spotted that on my menus.... so I went back and checked the manual. The manuel states there is only DeathMatch, Team Death Match, Capture the flag, and VIP escort. NO PLANT THE BOMB?????
So has any one else brought the game? Does your version have PLANT THE BOMB? Or is this a new thing added via "content download"?
OR is it a case that my Australian version is edited to exclude this mode, hence probably making it in-compatible with the rest of the world on Xbox live?
