In 1Thessalonians4 verse 6 it states 'The Lord will punish all those who commit such sins' therefore as a Christian would it mean that there would be no forgivenes if he/she got mixed up in sexual immorality?
If we look at the story of King David, he also got caught up in this same sin and ended up paying dearly for it. He however repented and turned from his sin and was forgiven. There is no sin too big for God to forgive except the sin we don't ask His help on forsaking Pro 28:13 1 John 1:9

1Th 4:6 That no man go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter: because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified.

avenger = ekdikos = puniusher

While the Christian does have his sins forgiven, his works will be judged;

1Co 3:15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

While we are judged based on our works, when we repent, confess our sins and turn from them and He forgives us, He remembers our sins and deeds (works) no more, so it's as if they didn't happen.

Heb 8:12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.”

Why when we look at Heb 11, the faith chapter, none of the hero's of faiths sins are even mentioned.

Why its very important to takes our sins to Christ, asking His helping in overcoming and forsaking Pro 28:13, while we can't do this on our own, through Christ all things are possible.

In 1 Corinthians 3, Paul is saying he's setting up the church. Those who build it correctly after him will be rewarded. Those who don't will have it burned up. He's not talking about sexual sin (or purgatory) there.

Christ has has been accused & judged for us. All sin you can think of past, present, & future, is gone if we are in him. 1 Thessalonians 4 is talking about those not in Christ - they are doomed already
