We are talking about a pattern of persecution through out history here for Christians who are non violent....
Why would those two things be mutually exclusive?
The Bible doesn't teach that atoms are made up of little particles. Do you reject that theory too?
Ah yes. The Thirty Years War. That most peaceful of all wars. A mere 50% of the population was killed in some parts of Europe.
"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you."
-Jules Winnfield
Ding ding ding... we have a winner!Like the Dude, this is not even a real person. So you are dealing in fantasy quotes from fictional characters from movies. I know. I used to quote movies all the time back in the day, too. It was almost like a religion to me because it was something I did all the time. But Jesus set me from the ways of the world and it's thinking. He can do the same for you.
The authors of those quotes are Paul, David, and Paul, respectively. Last I checked, none of them are God.

Think. Even our own language is with meaning taken from the Bible. The word "atom" is derivative of the name "Adam."
Please take note that I referred to Christians throughout history who were pacificists as the New Testament teaches.

The word atom comes from the Greek word ατομος, which in classical times meant something undivided, by NT times it meant an instant of time, and in modern Greek it means a person.
Scientific terms are usually borrowed from Greek, sometimes from Latin and never from Hebrew.
I speak English. You speak English. Most Christians here in America repented hearing English. Most Bibles people read here in America are English. Most English speaking people in America do not pick up a Greek Bible and know how to actually read it without some code key giving them a choose your own adventure type interpretion on the Bible.

Um, excuse me, but the Thirty Years War was a war motivated by religion and fought by Christians.
Just because someone claims to be Christian, doesn't mean they are one.
...
How is that relevant to your coming out with a spurious etymology?
So if they do something to embarrass you, they are not Christian. Sinlessness is not the definition of a Christian. If it was, there wouldn't be a single one of them on the planet.

It depends on the "evidence."Whose side are you on? Wouldn't a Christian support another Christian when it comes to trying to give evidences for God's Word to an atheist?

One woman wrote in response to an article on the subject: "A more fundamental question that requires an answer is: Does "life" exist on Planet Earth?" Judaism and Life on Other Planets
So you think that made up untruths are going to advance the cause of the Gospel?
