  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Well, it's been a few months since I have last posted. I'm getting settled back in here, and this is my kick off post. My family left last weekend, and things are much quieter now. It was quite chaotic while they were here, between having an 11 and 13 year old in the house, grandma having all kinds of appointments, and my appointments after my accident.

My dad came for a week at the end, and my bf asked him for my hand in marriage. Dad asked him to wait until his job is more stable. I am disappointed, but I also understand that. We are hopeful that he will have a permanent position with his company in the next couple months and praying for the Lord's timing in our relationship.

I miss being on staff here, but I'm not sure I'm ready to come back on yet. There is a lot to do here taking care of grandma and working full time, but hopefully I will at least be able to post now! There has been a lot on my mind lately and it's itching to come out!

Welcome home @Bumble Bee.
I pray for you and your father that God takes control and guides you to the path you desire.
If you aren't ready to be staff again so soon, remain as a general member for a while then progress - baby steps as we say in the UK. :)
