Kind of ironic that those whining over a change in terminology, er, made a change in terminology of their own.
It was only the Word-of-the-Year for 2006.

No, it's a MASSIVE DEAL I tell you! Not only does it make all of science wrong somehow, but I and my fellow citizens of Hicksville are REALLY QUITE ANNOYED ABOUT IT as we invented the word "downgrade!

The inhabitants of Pluto might

Again: There are no inhabitants of Pluto. If there were, what would they care what series of earth-English syllables we used to classify their planet?

You people are simply insane.

A misspelling of the element Plutonium

Everyone has everything wrong. All plutonium is obviously from Pluto. That's why it was downgraded; we mined so much plutonium for bombs and power plants that it died as a planet and became a dead orbiting husk.

Furthermore: Mars bars are from mars. So if we eat enoughof them mars won't be a planet either.

I'm right cause I'm right cause I'm right and you're wrong cause you're not me. There anything else you wondered about?

You forget to mention that we get mercury for our thermometers from planet Mercury. Also we get Uranium from Uranus. Also it is obvious we have much more Uranium, because Uranus is much bigger than Pluto. And also this:

we get from Venus.

Well, maybe there are more I'm missing.

Of course. Everybody whose knowledge is worth anything at all knows this.
