I would find it hard to believe that they won't let you serve in any capacity in the PCA unless you are a member. Are you thinking of attending a PCA church? Have you contacted them to ask?

Uhm... you might want to see if you can't arrange a meeting between him and the pastor or an elder to discuss that.

From what I understand from this PCA church I go to, I can serve as a non-member but I cannot teach. If I want to teach sunday school or group study, I need to be a member first.

I am going to talk to the pastor and arrange a meeting where my husband can talk to him about it. (he's working today). Yes that makes sense that you can't teach or something unless you are a member. I am providing refreshments next Sunday.
