Service to our Lord

I was so deep in sin it would be better not mentioning were i was in life and discuss the salvation i have received. You will feel blessed to serve the Lord, I felt led to tell others about Christ as soon as i was saved and there are many ways to serve the Lord.

JEREMIAH 33:2 Thus saith the LORD the maker thereof, the LORD that formed it, to establish it; the LORD is his name; 3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

Christ can give salvation no matter were you are in life. Once you receive that life you will feel it. If you sat in darkness He can reach you. If you went to church all your life and find yourself lost He can reach you; no matter were you are.

MATTHEW 4:16 The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.

If you're not saved today ask God for salvation in Jesus Christ's Name. Saying this prayer is a way to declare to God that you are relying on Christ for your salvation.

The words themselves will not save you. Only faith "full belief" in Jesus Christ can provide salvation.

“Dear Heavenly father I know that I have sinned against you and am deserving of punishment. But Christ took the punishment that I deserve, so that through faith in Him I could be forgiven?"

"Jesus Christ, with your help I place my trust in you for salvation, and I ask that you will forgive me of my sins. I thank you for your wonderful grace and forgiveness.”

Go tell a Christian church you have asked Christ for salvation and go to Sunday school you'll find fellowship and the study of the bible to be a great help as you grow as a Christian.

Salvation is all about a personal relationship with the Savior --the Lord Jesus Christ. If one knows Him and is worshipping in communion with Him; and makes the Lord Jesus one's best Friend, then one can go forward in peace, joy, and blessings all the way home to Heaven one day.

Dear ddrgkd. I say this with love, you give us many instances to serve the Lord, but I cannot find where Jesus asks us to Love God with all our hearts,
with all our souls, and with all our minds. Also: to love our neighbour as we love ourselves, or have I overlooked it? To Love God is our first service to God, but what about " Love our neighbour as we love ourselves? God is Love, and God wants loving sons and daughters. In fact God wants our love freely given and NO tags attached. We are told in Matthew 7: 7-10: " ask and ye shall receive," then we thank God and share all Love and Joy with our neighbour:
all we know and all we meet, friends and not friends. We keep asking for Love and Joy, then thank God and share all with our neighbour. God will not force us, but Jesus told us that on these two Commandments to Love God and love our neighbour, hang all the Law and the Prophets.
The Expositor`s New Testament tells us in Matthew 22: 37-40: " This is the foundation of all the Law, and it applies to the present Day of Grace."
God is Love, and God wants loving men and women. The Bible also tells us:
"Repent," and " Be Born Again," give up our selfishness and unkindness, and change into Loving and Caring sons and daughters of our Heavenly Father.
A Christian`s strong weapon is Love, and with love we will overcome all enemy-activity, all wrong behaviour. We will find that we soon change into the men and women which God wants us to become. Jesus our Saviour, will help and guide us: JESUS IS THE WAY. Let us change into God`s loving men and women, and give proof to this imperfect world that God is Love, and ready to receive all who want to COME. Love God with heart, soul, and mind,
