I went to a Service Evangelism Conference in Tampa, FL last night and today, with Steve Sjogren...
Anyhow, so we went out to practice what we were hearing...my team took gift bags to the nursing staff of a University hospital...we walked onto the floor, walked up the nurses' station and smiled. They saw the gift bags and assumed they were for some patients or something. "Hey, we brought you guys a little treat," we said. "We just wanted to show you the love of God in a practical way. How many staff are on duty right now? We have a bag for you each!" So, we handed out fifteen to them, and they were ecstatic! Then, we went to the next station on the floor, and they had six people there, so we gave them six bags. We had one left over, then they suddenly said, "Hey, wait! We forgot about [Susan]!" So, not only were we able to be a blessing (especially to the girl who forgot to bring a lunch!
), but we had EXACTLY the right number of bags...is that a God thing or what???
