Agreed. Assuming we're talking about the serpent that deceived Eve, that was a spirit being, and they have no gender.
Arent both male and female called "Sons of God"? Therefore this title cannot be used to specify gender?Angels are spirit beings and have gender . They are called Sons of God .

This is bad news for all the women in the world....as there is no way they can be the Sons of God. Sad for men too....as they probably cannot become the brides of Christ. Not really , can't imagine female raping other females and taking them as wifes in Genesis 6 and Jude 1:6

What gender of people are being spoken of here?Actually born again people are body of Christ which indicate both male and female , there is no marriage in heaven and we won't have sex with each other there so man/women is not important aspect of who you will be there.

Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

You have all the answers....and I find no fault in any of them. Thanks for sharing what you know.Well Paul is speaking to brothers ,women were not allowed to speak in church so we can't base it on this I believe .
In Revelation tho there is "manchild" when you go to greek it's a word for both male and female being .
Sons of God is in OT usually about angels , while in NT Jesus even once called his brothers Jews "ye are Gods " .
There is not much mention of woman by Paul preaching and when they are they are being rebuked for doing prophecy and told to focus on childbearing , sad but true they were not allowed to talk so we can't really base "sons of God" to both male and female because Paul was mostly talking with males using things to describe them .
He always open his letters with "brothers" aswell not mentioning sisters , such was the culture back in these days , women have more rights than then .
If you took away angels from Genesis 6:1 it would look like God look at man and consider them Gods but look at woman compared to man and consider them not daugters of God but of men which sounds like he looks down on them but that's not the cause . He is speaking of Angels and earthly women .
According to a Lexicon, the gender is Masculine, supposedly making it a male serpent. Is the serpent male or female?
I don't think it's valid to make that claim. It's been a long time since I studied this, but I believe the word for "pencil" in French is feminine. That doesn't mean that pencils are women! Gender in languages just helps to determine what words go with other words - it doesn't indicate male/femaleness.According to a Lexicon, the gender is Masculine, supposedly making it a male serpent.

In Galatians 3:26-28, NASB & NKJV version says "sons of God...Interesting. The KJV say "children of God"
So if a woman is considered a son of God, can it be stated that there were also women taking themselves upon the daughters of men as wives in the old testament? Just a little brain teaser
KJV
Genesis 6: 1-2
1 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,
2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.
NASB
1 Now it came about, when men began to multiply on the face of the land, and daughters were born to them,
2 that the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves, whomever they chose.
