if you were in charge of hiiring a youth pastor, would you hire a guy who stutters, i do, and i've wanted to be a youth pastor since my freshman year in high school, feedback would be great.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Communication is the tool we use to get the message of the Cross to people, but there are many forms of communication. It think if you are able to communicate, have a passion for youth ministry and get along with the kids then it will be a non-issue.

I am a Student Life Director and I have Tremor Movement Disorder. This means that I have trouble controlling the right side of my body and I shake constantly. It is awkward when I first meet people, but soon we just laugh about it. It stinks to have a problem like this, but life is good, and God has blessed me and my ministry and we do alright. If God is calling you, then you do it. Its that simple. It is not our job to question but instead to blindly follow.
