Well Matrix was about 10 times easier to understand than Lain.

well i agree that it dose have some very matrix quiltiys....but to say its for Pre-teen girls i would not agree....it was a very complex story.....to catch eveyrthign you had to pay atention to alot of details.....i think it was amazing...and more complex story then the matrix...granted you might not have ment it was for preteen girls...but rather they where in it...i dont know....but i love the anime its one of my favs.

It's one of those animes you either love or hate. I'm one of those wierd guys who neither loves nor hates it. Thought it was pretty good but a bit slow at times.

Love Lain, one of a few animes I can watch over and over again. I'd recommend Texhnolyze also if you like Lain
