As I said earlier give Obama all his program and then you can blame him if it fails. The Republicans block everything and vote for nothing, you can argue with that all you want and the american people will still see through it, the next election for congress will be interesting

We tried that. Democrats had control of the House and Senate back in 2009. He squandered his time forcing Obamacare onto a public that the majority did not want.

Merope, the Democrats actually did have total control over the government in 2009...

All you need to control the House of Representatives is a majority... Nancy Pelosi was speaker of the House because the Democrats controlled the House.

The Democrats had a 60 members whom were Democrats and/or caucused with Democrats in the United States Senate. That is called a Super-Majority because it means you can't even use a fillabuster to block anything without at least 1 democrat breaking ranks.

Obama, Pelosi, and Reid didn't need a single Republican vote to pass anything they wanted. That is not an opinion, that is a fact, and no amount of rainbow vomitting unicorns that you post is going to change that fact.

She had no comeback, because Obama has no excuse.

For a couple weeks spread out perhaps. But that's neither here nor there. First you Republicans whine about them "forcing" "Obamacare" down your throats and then you whine when they actually seek compromise? And Republicans filibuster even non-controversial cabinet positions? ^_^ Enjoy permanent minority status.

Someone whom is pro-Iran, pro-North Korea, anti-Israel is a non-controversial pick? Maybe noncontroversial in Iran, but not the United States.

Seriously Merope, Obama has never attempted to compromise on anything, his idea of compromise is he gets everything he wants and the opposition caves, that is not compromise, that is a toddler throwing a tantrum and needs to be put in time out.

The reason why Democrats want to legalize all the illegals in this country is to ensure they have a lock on power, let's be clear on this, Democrats want the majority of people to be dependent on Government for everything so they have a lock on power. The Democrat party of today doesn't care about the people, they consider you to be beneath them, and you need to understand that you're being played for a fool.

Anyone with a Democrat logo, of course if this is the dialogue you want to really have I suppose I could think of some things for Republicans.

As if it hasn't been happening already! It is to laugh.

Guess Dems can't take a dose of their own medicine.

So the defense cuts are gutting the military, the cuts are so tiny they don't matter, and it's all Obama's fault?

I am on record on other threads supporting cuts to the military. Could you give me a quote from THIS thread where I have bemoaned cuts to the military?

If Obama is right and a cutting 2c on the dollar in the growth of federal spending will lead to economic ruin and chaos, then this nation is in seriou, serious trouble. The type of trouble a responsible president would address. So either his argument is phoney or he is.

I probably shouldn't have included your post in that. I was refering to the broader republican talking points. My apologies.

Once it is seen that the economy doesn't sink into ruin and chaos, we'll hear how Obama miraculously saved the economy despite the sequestration cuts. Just like the millions of jobs he's created or saved during the current economic boom

So his plan either saves the economy or destroys it. Alright fair enough. Either way it seems like the Republican talking holes are trying to pin the term "Sequester" on the Obama Administration anyway (like they had nothing to do with it.) So if he does take credit for it what do you think Republicans should do?
