CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

its not gambling because its giving away....I am from a part of the country that is what we call it when its given away, its raffled away.....I didnt know it was a gambling term

I think I'll pose the question as to whether a pet winning contest would be in any technical violation of CF rules to my Mod Supervisor. It doesn't really seem any different than the threads for winning blessings, but 
just in case . . . I'll ask. 
I'll post later today (hopefully) what I find out. We are not allowed to post about any type of gambling activity: "CF Rule 3.9 Controversial Topics to Be Discussed Only in Certain Forums. Members shall make posts regarding the following subjects only in Ethics & Morality, Liberal Theology or Christian Philosophy forums, or any subforums in the Congregation/Recovery section:a. drug use.
b. gambling.. ."
I don't think winning a pet constitutes gambling, but raffles are considered a gambling activity in many places, so we'd probably need to make it a game similar to the posting games in the friendship forums and blessings exchange.

but her on CF,rules are strict
i was surprised many times i broke a rule,just becouse of different customs i am use to
i love your ideas,we should just watch the words...we live in political correcness era,so its a good practise

Just checking in just was going to ask can someone look after Church June 22-28 becuase I most likey will not be able to get on the coomputer taking a vaction and the 13 is the last day of school I will send blessing to the who is taking care of my puppy unless soemoen adopts it beofre than and all

like I said that is going to be my last suggestion for a while.....its better that someone else do the suggestions and I am going to just feed the pets...and hope that I get to foster another pet soon.
