  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yeah, I'd seriously rather just say this stuff to people...some of the compliments are really beautiful, but what good are they if they don't reach the person they're meant for? They could really bless and lift some spirits.

I'm not trying to diss the thread at all, don't misunderstand me I'll see y'all on the other threads!

-I don't understand why you constantly put yourself down. You are an attractive person, funny, interesting, and seem like an overall good person.

-You are a beautiful and wonderful person. I know it's difficult waiting for the right guy, but when you find each other it will be so worth the wait.

-I like that you are an intelligent person who can discuss things without getting nasty (i.e., going into attack mode) and seem like an overall very pleasant person. I bet we would be good friends if we lived in the same city (this one actually applies to two different people, I don't know if that matters or not).

-It is people like you who have made me really enjoy CF. You are a fabulous person.
