  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

HC, I have been a member of this site for approximately six years and was predominantly oblivious to the reputation system. I had apparently repped people years ago and had completely forgotten how to do it. Not only this, yet people had been repping me and leaving gracious comments without my knowledge! I had no idea how to access them until I read the FAQ section yesterday afternoon.

I've repped ppl before too...a long time ago...so I feel just as idiotic.

I was aware of ppl repping me and wanted to rep some ppl and looked everywhere except where that silly light bulb is! Of course, this is the same girl who completely overlooked a giant sign in Ontario earlier this month while looking for a place that I had been to before!

I don't really know why it's a lightbulb, but they should make it something more intuitive, like a thumbs up, though I suppose not all reps are positive.

Thanks Ink! You RAWK!!!

My moods have been all over the map today. arrrrrgh!!! I'm trying to wean myself off the meds cuz I can't afford them anymore without health insurance. The side effects aren't pretty. I know I can do it without them and would prefer to (especially since they made me freaking gain nearly 20 lbs!) but these next couple of weeks I might be a bit more psycho than usual. Thankfully my dosage is way lower than most people...another reason I know I can get off them! yay!

-You complain about some pretty ridiculous things but atleast you have interests of which to complain about

-You seem like a lot of fun and I'm happy you have someone to share your life with

-You seem very down to earth and can be funny, that is when you aren't being over the top.

-You are not ugly and I care about you and often pray for you. I really hope you are able to emerge from the dark tunnel you have been in and experience some sunshine soon!
