I wanted to say I am addicted to life really. Anyway seriously, how do I control my sexual urges so they don't control me?

Right now you are a sexually driven machine, and to harness that energy is a daunting task to say the least. There is a book "Every mans battle" that really changed my out look and how I face my sex drive, it's really helped me understand the how and why of male sexuality and it gives a strong biblical foundation to understanding god's veiw point on the whole thing... It also helps men deal with sexual addiction and the "material" associated with it in a real world way..
This book can be found on newlife.com or 1800-new-life and even through local book stores. Its a life changing experience to say the least.

One thing I've found in my own struggles with sexuality, and in counseling others is that as men we tend to be goal-oriented. We focus on a problem until we find a resolution and continue to do so until that resolution is achieved.

The problem in that lies that we cannot fix our brokenness ourselves. Fixing our eyes upon the struggle only points out our inability to permanently free us from it. The psychological term for this is 'overfocus'. Our obsession switches back and forth between sexual desire and our attempt to change from our sexual desire. In other words, we sin, then we try to think about our sin to the point where it's always on our minds, which in a moment of weakness we act upon it again.

Multiple times in Scripture, God implores us to fix our eyes upon Him, and not our sin. That is not to say to ignore our sexuality, but to put it aside until we are within the boundaries where it can be used appropriately. But above that, fix your eyes on Him.

Remember that many things are how you choose for them to be.

I wasn't necessarily an angel growing up but this is what I did:
Be responsible. If you don't want a child, then don't bear the responsibility of trying to make one.
Love and respect others. This will prevent you from using a person for gratification.
Women are precious gifts from God, so treat them accordingly.
Respect yourself as well.

Well, I was gonna say something completely different than what everyone else said about controlling your urges . . . but everyone else wouldn't like it.

Oh what the heck.

My advice . . . touch. Now, I know what you guys are thinking (at least I think I do), that it's a big sin and that it's bad. WRONG! Here's why:

#1 - It releases the sexual pressure that builds up, which is what you want to control.

#2 - It is a sin ONLY IF there is porn or lust involved. LUST IS NOT A REQUIREMENT FOR MASTURBATION

Now, I know you guys are going to argue this until the end of the world. But, the Bible doesn't make any reference to masturbation . . . anywhere.

Well, I gotta get goin' class is startin' at 10 and I hafta get ready. CYa!
