Self-Actualization

I have never heard the phrase 'self-actualisation' before. I am fulfilled by my artwork, poetry and writing. I can only create a picture when the vibes are right, I have to connect with something deep inside myself in order to do so, is this self-actualisation?

When you fulfill yourself by using those talents you have for art, you are self-actualizing. This concept isn't so much about the "vibes" issue, which is something that one author calls Flow (which is discussed in two books called Flow and Finding Flow) or the feeling of eudaimonia (discussed briefly in David Norton's Personal Destinies), although Flow is a sign that one is self-actualizing.
