Seeking Help!

As of recently I've left, for the most part, my secular music days behind me. God reached out and allowed me to meet christian musicians. He knew that I was a struggling Christian and He kept putting christians in my path so that I might better understand Him and praise Him through song. All of my once secular songs have now been lyrically changed to praise Him.

My songs were never off the deep end, but they were usually about friends and loved ones. Even though some of the them still are, they have changed to reflect how much I'm thankful that He put them in my life.

We consider ourselves a Pop Rock / Praise and Worship group with mostly originals and have only recorded one song thus far. Our singer has another song recorded that was put on an album, but we are unsure if we are going to use that one for this album.

What we need help with is a good band name. We have thought of many names that we might be able to use, but none of them seem to be to our liking. We are still searching for that great band name.

If you can think of any please let us know. We do have one of our songs online, but since I'm not sure of the rules of the forums I will not post up the link.

For now, and until I'm sure of rules, let me know if you need to listen to the song to get a better idea and I will PM you the link.

If you're not creative enough to come up with a name, how will you ever be creative enough to make good music?

I've written several songs, so creativity is not the problem. We've also come up with a dozen names that sound good to either him or me, but not to us both. We are still tossing up a few names so I won't display those but a few of the names that we dismissed are:

Sinomore; Glory Day; Beyond Us; and Psalm Street. There are many more that we are still considering.

I apologize if my last post didn't make sense but it's not the creative part we lack, or our lack to be competant song writers/players. We've come up with plenty of names. I only figured that asking people for input wouldn't hurt either.

I didn't post to beg for a band name, I'm just looking for input and/or a name that we can throw into our list for consideration. You never know someone else might have that name, that you didn't come up with that fits you perfectly.

There are different types of creativeness. I'm not good at drawing... not a good musician, but i am good at writing. To assume that a person may not be creative in one area means they are not at all creative is flawed.
