So back when I was 14 years old and in the school library, me and my twin saw a demon. This was 5 years before I developed schizophrenia and started hearing voices. My twin does not have schizophrenia. It's a short story. I was sitting in the library at school near the entrance while reading a book about quotes. I kept having trouble being distracted from reading, because every time somebody walked in the door to the library, I would hear a bell ring with their arrival. At one point I heard the bell and looked up only to be confused, because this time the door was closed and nobody walked in, except for this shadowy figure about the size of a fat man. Immediately after seeing it, I looked around to see if anybody else saw it, but it appeared that nobody else was looking at it. I then looked back at the shadowy figure, and had trouble seeing it except out of the corner of my eye. I became really scared and tried not to look it in the eye as it walked towards me. It passed right beside me and went through the bookcase behind me. I couldn't see it for a while, and then i saw it re-emerge from the same bookshelf, but a little farther away from me than when it first entered into the library. It then walked away and exited out the door that it came in, but the second time he went through the door, there was no sound of a bell. When I got home, I was about to tell my twin about what I had seen, but she seemed really excited about something so I let her talk first. To my shock, she told me she had seen the same demon, but when she was sitting on the other side of the bookcase! She said that it came through the bookcase, and came walking right towards her, but then turned around and went back through the bookcase through which it came! She said she didn't know what happened to it before or after going through that bookcase. I then told her what had happened on my side of the bookcase, and our stories matched! I wish I had had a camera or a camera phone or something at the time, but I did not, and also I was too scared of it to move. I wonder now if it meant something, but I can only guess.
