Seedbed

Are any of our Wesleyan or Methodist friends familiar with this group and the New Room movement? I just recently discovered them, and wanted to get your thoughts. They seem to have a strong Wesleyan approach to faith and study, which I very much respect. I've always been a big admirer of John Wesley and his theology. Any positive or negative thoughts on this group?

In the interest of full disclosure, I did write a single article for them after some discussion with a couple of the people behind Seedbed. Having been fairly widely exposed to the larger Christian blogger scene, I noticed that most websites in the Moderate-Conservative to Conservative range tended to be Calvinistic or fully Reformed. Seedbed was a welcome departure from that. Probably the first thing that hooked me were the articles and Threshing Floor podcast.

I still receive their daily devotionals and profit immensely from them. I visit the site often to catch up on articles and would definitely endorse the website as a place for Wesleyan thought that I think is true to it's namesake. In fact, they've done a great job publishing some of Wesley's works in digestible volumes related to a larger theme, including more obscure ones.

I heartily endorse them; I use them myself. They've helped me with prayer, fasting, and studying Scripture.
