I saw Serenity on DVD at a friend's house for the 1st time, after seeing all 15 episodes of FireFly for the first time just days before. Man I LOVE this series, the characters, the wit and humor, the Verse, and everything else about it!! I hope the DVD sales will do well so that someone picks up the series.

And yes the easter egg is hilarious!!! "..the man they call JAAAYYNNEE!!"

Even if you are not a fan of the cancelled TV show Firefly, this is one of the best movies I have seen all year. Check it out to be sure if you like a kind of "Space Western" type movie.

Not to get ya ticked or anything but this was one sleeper for me. I made it through the movie but dumb. Really..ok,does the film come with a handbook on ridiculous script? No major names in it..NO WONDER. I could have been doing something alot better like playing Uno.

I saw Serenity last night and was SO pleased! It was such a change to have high expectations for a film and actually walk out feeling those expectations were met. It was so well done, which is sometimes hard to say about many sci-fi movies. My sister and I were so impressed that we bought the DVD season of Firefly last night online...I can't wait to watch it!

I know..awful movie.. but it doesn't matter I loved it, I get a kick out of the TV series.. it's just fun. But to each their own.. I could definitely nitpick it to pieces but I don't need to.. I let my film snobbery go away for movies like Serenity.
