There are heterosexuals in the "Christian Ethics" forum telling everyone sex outside of marriage is not a sin. Seems they want to justify their sin too. Read this...

It's a sad day when a "christian" forum has debates about homosexuality and premarital sex. Jesus said to deny yourself and take up your cross...not if it feels good, do it!

The rich man turned around and walked off because he wanted eternal life, but he wasnt willing to follow Jesus. These days people want it both ways - I'll take the eternal life please, but that part about following Jesus...

Jesus didn't speak out against homosexuality. None of the Apostles spoke out against homosexuality.

Some forum members lives and a Church are waiting for them:

Find a Gay Affirming Church in your area!

Don't believe lies founded on traditions, stand up for the truth:

What exactly is marriage to you??

To some my husband and I may not be married because he may not meet Christian definitions therefore Im not really married...(I should only be married to a Christian you know )

Then there are others here who married by the JP...which is not really married IMO...Marriage to me is in a Church, just like I did...
Yet...then again, maybe to others it all depends on ones Church...Maybe if one is married in a certain Church it doesnt count as a proper marriage??

Some consider being commonlaw legally married...

So ....what is married...
What is married in God's eyes??
Are you able to speak for God?
Are any of us able to speak for God?

You are making an assumption that the people who are posting and reading in this forum aren't trying to follow God. I think we are trying to follow God and live respectable lives, but seeking clarification on some topics.

I think it's very easy to have the "my beliefs are better than yours" attitude and then, in your example, trying to impugn those who would even consider discussing a topic that you have already decided is right or wrong in your mind.

Frankly, what is sad, is that you are judging our motives and instead of helping advance our understanding in a particular area, you condemn us for our discussion.

I don't know if he is referring to legislated marriage or marriage recognised by God. I do know that the Word of God requires a loving committed relationship, a contract if you will, between two people.

I know that many homosexuals along with heterosexuals have taken advantage of free will, myself included. I hope that I can refute temptations in the future, and ensure that the contract can be binding.

19 My brothers, if one of you should wander from the truth and someone should bring him back, 20 remember this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of his way will save him from death and cover over a multitude of sins.
James 5:19-20

5 Better is open rebuke than hidden love. 6 Wounds from a friend can be trusted, but an enemy multiplies kisses.

You have yet to state a credible debate point with backings or findings. Articles? this is just commentary, plain and simple...

Just out of curiosity Dave, do you agree with Eph 3:20's interpretation that pre marital sex is not a sin?

Yes, I believe sex is reserved for marriage whether you are straight or gay. I also do not prioritize sexual sins as ones that are more potent than others like some people here!

Since when does the state of Massachusetts, or any other state, decide what is and is not sin? The only thing they can decide is if a particular act is or is not a crime within their state boundaries.

Who's the wacky one here? You're the one that believes the Bible is inerrant.
If that makes me wacky then every single real Christian out there is insane and you better not quote scripture from now on since it's littered with errors according to you. Maybe Jesus was actually a woman.

The Holy Spirit raises up prophets among some of us:

I read this book called The Holy Spirit: The Key to supernatural living by Bill Blight
Page 259
"Prophesy (1 Corinthians 12:10, 28)

The gift of prophesy is one of the most misunderstood of all the gifts. Many people consider it an ability to foretell the future. The word literally means to "preach" or to proclaim the Word of God to others. A prophet, biblically, called a nation to repentenance and to return to God. Like Dr. Williams Evans, most believers who have this gift find that it takes much time, hard work and reliance on the power and control of the Holy Spirit to develop this gift.
Since so much of Scripture contains God's revelation of His future plans, the preaching of the Word from time to time includes dealing with things to come. Since the canon of Scripture is now "closed," or complete, such preaching on future things, if it is the result of being truly gifted, only confirms what the Bible says and does not add to Scriptures."

Here is a modern prophet

And this is his prophetic book:
