Hey everyone. We all know that Sedevacantism is a heresy in which all popes since Vatican II are rejected as invalid. Basically they reject the entire post-Vatican II Church. If what they say is true then Jesus is a liar (which we know He isn't!) because Jesus promised that the Gates of Hell would never prevail against the Catholic Church but if what they claim is true then the Gates of Hell did prevail! We know that the Gates of Hell have not prevailed against the Church.

So anyway, I am just wondering, how can one refute this insidious and evil heresy?

Sorry to be so blunt, but how can Catholics not see Orthodoxy as a "chicken with its head cut off"?
(at least with sedes, the "head" is theoretically there, just not the brain)

Not sure what you mean...lol but what I meant is that in sedevacantism the "head" is there (meaning the office of the pope) but the "brain" (the pope himself) is not...

I don't think the idea of safe houses is to have a place to mock others. It's not supposed to be some sort of a barricade where one can toss bs at others and seek shelter behind the SOP oneself.

Make sure you give that message to TAW and other subs too then. I didn't say anything about mocking, but the safe houses mean we're free to express Truth without the headache of insolent heterodox and heretics trying to clap back. If we want that we'll go to GT.

My apologies, if the quoted statement was misconstrued.. My statement "learning from the best", was joking reference to the fact that when long dormant threads are revived, in TAW.. I'm the one calling it "thread necromancy", and posting the Young Fronkensteen meme, about 95% of the time.
I wasn't referring to any Catholic/Orthodox disagreements. I'm a firm believer in respecting that each congregations home forum should be a "safe zone", for it's members.

My bad everyone...I should not talk that way about others if I want to be respected myself...I was actually trying to give a metaphor illustrating my point (no "rock" to "feed the flock") even if it looked weird, yet I realize that in spite of that, this is not the place for such thing because it still looks derogatory.

I've been here for many years and I don't feel like myself lately. I've been saying weird things on CF that isn't being received well. I'm seriously wondering if I'm getting cognitive impairment from meds. I'm saying dumb things; making dumb threads...or maybe I just need to behave...I just feel weird everytime I open my mouth...
