I would like to pray for the healing of Second Life. I would like to pray for the removal of sex and violence on the virtual world and that there are police offers on the site to protect people. I pray that Second Life becomes a safe place for everyone. I pray Jesus will heal my heart about loosing Second Life.

Luin, I might pray for this if I really knew what you were talking about. What is Second Life ? I only know about a second birth and it's being reborn of the Spirit in Jesus Christ, to me this rebirth has been my second life.. We are nothing without Jesus.

Second Life is a virtual world. It is like playing a video game but with even more freedom. Imagine if on Christian forums we had avatars that were able to walk around and dance and swim in a virtual world. That is what Second Life was like

That is okay I can see why you wouldn't want to pray for Second Life. There is a good chance the site needs to be shut down and rebuilt. Thank you for praying for me. hugs

I too am on SL, not a lot these days though. I am always bothered by all the emotional cheaters in game. Married people in real life having relationships, even with the same gender as themselves, with people in SL. Worse, some couples have virtual open relationships. I knew a lady who was married in RL and she wanted me to be her SL "husband" and her RL husband was even coming up with "pet names" for me. Disgusting!
SL is indeed filled with people exploiting their nastiness of master/save and collaring control, gay love, and God hating words and actions all over.
My profile makes people angry because I do not accept their "SL only" lives.
People have really twisted their souls thinking there are no real life consequences from this game.
I could go on and on.....
I go to chit chat with a few people and play Skipee. I do not do most of the stuff others do in SL

Thank you for sharing this. I used to love SL a lot. I got hurt very badly on the site. There are Satanist on Second Life and I was stalked and harmed by them. Second Life has the potential to be a beautiful place when it heals. I am praying for the healing of Second Life.

Yea, people do play with other's feelings there.
People get upset at me all the time when I tell them that SL is just a game with real people, like any other MMORPG, but with just more abilities to simulate life (or not) in it. People fuss at me because it is for them to separate their lives to say things and act like they normally would not. But, it is no more real to me than watching a movie. I just interact with other humans in SL, and I usually get the same idiots I deal with in RL.
I have gotten hurt to on the level of friendships only, since I do not do the fake romances others do on there.
Definitely a place where 90% of the fake act fake for sure and many have no problems toying with others, since they are safe behind their computers with no consequences.
I have few friends left on there. I am antisocial even online.

I left there several years ago. It was not a good place to me. I instead write fiction now and play with dolls. I do miss my avatar but in my heart I know I will always have my avatar. I am praying that Second Life heal. I pray that it becomes a Christian site. I am praying that Second Life will become a good place. Do you have a picture of your avatar? I only have a few pictures of mine left. Here is one picture.
