Seattle Christians who want to chat and escape a while from the World

If your like me, working in a worldly environment, you don't get a chance to discuss the Lord throughout your day. So I wanted to create a place where we can chat about Anything Christian related and connect with people.
I live in Seattle, and attend Westwood Christian Assembly. I am new to the Lord and would love to share my new love with as many christians as possible.

A good starting topic could be who is the person that really sticks out to you in the Bible and why?

There are so many i can think of that I can relate to depending on the mood or circumstance that I am in. I always try to have the strong convictiona and love for the Lord as Job does. Or the faith that Abraham had. God will provide! So strong of a statement.

I find Mary,the sister of Martha and their brother who died and was raised again by our Lord,very much to my liking.The promise our Lord made to Mary,who was sitting at His feet and listen to His words and voice,"Mary has chosen well to listen to me,nobody and nothing will be able to take this away from her."I prayed and asked the Lord sincerely that I too might sit at His feet and learn and be told of His great Love for us.My prayers have been answered and I like nothing more,than talk and witness about our Saviour who died for us,that we might live for Him.Greetings from Emmy,a sister in Christ.

My favorite character is the woman at the well. No matter how many times she sinned, Jesus still showed her His forgiveness and love. But what I really like about her? She wasn't ashamed or shy of the gospel - she got to business right away and started evangelizing. Excellent!!!!

I'm in Renton just down the road from Seattle. The person, or rather situation in the scripture that always strikes me is when Yeshua heals the blind man in John 9 which leads up to a statement to the Rabbis that I found very profound when I first read it years ago.

I live about and hour from Seattle. The person that really captivates me in the Bible is David. He knew God and yet he still made some pretty horrendous mistakes, and yet God still loved and forgave him and blessed him. That gives me hope that regardless of how bad my past has been God can forgive me.
