  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hi everybody,

I'm searching for a 4-year accredited college to go to. I would like it to be in the United States, preferably near Michigan. I would prefer a Protestant college, but denomination is not important. I would also prefer the classes to be small. I'm looking to study Christian apologetics, world history, Biblical Greek and Hebrew, world religions, biology, and western philosophy. I also want to attend a seminary after I get my undergraduate degree. Any recommendations? Recommendations for online colleges would be greatly appreciated also. Thanks! :)

This will give you a fairly extensive list of colleges. Since you are planning on seminary, I would encourage you to have a non-ministry major or have a double major at your udergraduate level rather than focusiing exclusively on ministry related subjects right away. Anything at all, but make sure you get basic course in accounting, some basic psychology classes, world cultures, sociology all of which wil prove to be a huge help to you in ministry.
