I am on the look out for a job. I hope that our Lord God has a special purpose for me in mind. Can someone please add to my prayers for a job because the bible says 'When 2 or more people get together and pray, the Lord hears"

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Absolutely I will pray for you. And I will pray also that God will reveal to you His will in your job seeking situation. He works behind the scenes, so perhaps it has already happened! Believe and be at peace.

Lord, I lift up this prayer request in prayer and ask with a loving heart that You will open the right door for this person to a good paying job. Lord, I believe with all my heart that You are our wonderous provider. I am believing in answered prayers for this person. In the name of Jesus "Amen"

I will pray for you. In the meantime, keep Luke 12:6-7 and 12:22-31 in mind. Consider the lilies and sparrows and remember that God cares for them and you are worth so much more to Him.God_is_good said:
