Attempting a search on 'Chamberlain' from the main forum page produced two sheets of errors in such rapid succession that I could not even see what the errors were ,and was returned to the original page.

It would seem that error reporting thus has big problems in it too, one needs time enough to read an error report else there is little point in it.

I tried to Search within a thread. A person quoted from an earlier post in the thread. I wanted to find the original. So, I copied and pasted a word from the quote -- thus I *know* the word exists at least *once* in the thread -- into the Search box. I got this result:

  1. Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms.
  2. Your search included threads from which you only have permission to view their titles. You may find further results if you choose the "Search Thread Titles Only" option.

This is obviously stupid. First of all, I *know* the word is in the thread at least once, so "no matches" can't be correct. Secondly, if there are NO matches at all, how would I get better results if I searched only titles? Thirdly, my search ONLY INCLUDED *ONE* THREAD. I have full access to it, so how can it be that in the case of "some" of the included threads, I only have "permission" to "view the title"?
