Just got a Text from Beth, she's being induced today, probably because of some high blood pressure she's been having. She'll call me after Noah's born and I spread the news.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

thanks for informing us Rose!! cant wait to hear all about the birth. She is only about a week from her due date if i remember..so thats good. I hope all goes well, i will pray for her and baby.

Beth was in labor for 18 hours without an epidural. She'd been on pitocin all that time. every contraction his heart rate kept dropping, positioning did not help. It kept dropping. Noah was born via emergency C-Section to save his life and probably Beth's as well. He was six lbs 7 oz and 18 inches long. He didn't have a good score at all when he was born.
Beth had done really well and gotten to six cm in 6 hours by herself. She's a trooper, I don't know if I would have gone 18 hours without screaming for drugs. The good thing is both Beth and Noah are safe and BETH HAD HER BABY!!

good grief...18 hours...no meds... I hope both mom and baby are recovering well they are in my prayers
