Seeing the words funnel cake, Lancaster, Amish, fairs and hogies with oil and vinegar make me a bit home sick. Calzone is one that was left out. Oh so good the cheese ones are. I left Mechanicsburg (south central Pa) in 1986 to move south. Way south to the Panhandle of Florida. Nice memories of home though.

Hey 11990 - Joining TCC in sending a big PA hug as well!

I live in Feasterville(about 1 or 2 minutes from Philly) on weekdays, and Warminster(about 15 minutes away from Feasterville) on weekends.

So yep.

Hi, I live in Langhorne. Do you go to Neshaminy or a private school? My kids and I went to Neshaminy.

Hi everyone! I am originally from Chester County, currently living on Long Island.
You all are making me homesick and hungry :)

Depending on what part of Long Island you're only a few hours away from us! Come on over and have some Funnel cake! LOL! :p

I have made it from here to home in as little as 3 hours and 15 minutes. Conversely it has at times taken 5+ hours.
I will be in PA for most of the month of October and I plan on having LOTS of cheesesteaks, funnel cakes, Lebanon bologna, Tasty Cakes and (dare I say) Yuengling. And I am taking my kids to Dutch Wonderland for Happy Hauntings...I love PA!

I can get Yuenling here in NY, but I have never seen Yuengling Light outside of PA. The Black & Tan makes a wonderful
base for chili!!!!

I cook with beer, sometimes I even put it in the food?! Ok, now I am REALLY looking forward to my trip home. The kids can't wait to have Dairy Queen, boy are they misguided!
