Alright, who else here watches this show? I absolutely love this show and I definately think that when it comes out on DVD I'll be adding it to my meagre collection of DVDs. For now I have to settle for some decent quality screen-caps on my computer, but the show is absolutely hilarious.

JD's little... internal monologues whenever he has a chance to say or do something stupid just crack me up. Especially since he makes all the arguements to *not* do or say whatever and then forgets that and does the exact opposite. Then the pause, the wince at the reaction and the "damn!" as he gets laid into. I love it!

Some of my favorite lines also come from Dr. Cox - he is absolutely hilarious when he is talking, no matter who to. Talking to his ex-wife (at least as of where I am in the series right now, half-way through season 2) and JD and then saying "Quick newbie, cover your eyes! She'll steal your soul!" Or when he gets going into his insults or quips to whoever is nearest - "But sir, I will NOT date that daughter of yours." "But I only have a son." "Whoops - my bad. I was going by the photo on your desk." The wisedom he imparts on the kids is pretty solid stuff for the most part too. ("Quick tip newbie - when you push around a stiff, nobody asks you to do anything.") And then the ever-present threats just are priceless, especially when he's talking to the nervous doctor:
Dr. Cox (to himself) "Nobody hurts Karla and gets away with it."
Nervous Guy: "Who's Karla?"
Cox: "Don't evesdrop."
Cox (to himself): "I'm going to kill that guy if he doesn't leave."
Nervous guy starts to get up from his table. Cox whistles.
Cox: "Ah ah ah. Now if you leave now I'll know you were evesdropping... and then I'll just kill you anyways."
Nervous guy sits down again.
Cox: "Atta girl."

He's just so funny all the time. It's great stuff. Plus the fact he actually cares about what he does is very endearing to those who watch.

The only thing I can see possibly being frowned upon is the frequent sexual jokes being made (Todd from surgery a lot :p) and the premarital sex that happens fairly frequently. However some funny episodes stem from that, so I generally don't really care.

So who else wants to see this on DVD ASAP?

I LOVE Scrubs. From what I understand from reading Zach Braff's blog, there is a fight between the production company & NBC [or ABC, who has the rights to Scrubs, or something...?] and that's why there have been no DVD releases.

My favorite line from Dr. Cox is "We'll be bestest friends foreverest if you just keep your face out of my face."

I'm a HUGE Scrubs fan. I'm looking forward to the DVD releases this year! (there will be at least 2 seasons, if not 3 season released on DVD this year). I just watched it for the first time this year and have since gotten all caught up on the show via recording methods.

OT, but...

I find that "The" works well for most boy names. I call my best friend "The Dan". "The" seems to be pretty universal.

But NO ONE can do "The" like The Todd. IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN.
[I like how he shouts his last sentences all the time, in case you couldn't tell.]

I'd love to know a guy named Todd, so I could call him "The Todd"

I dig. Although, my name might not work with it. "The Paul"

I was named after St. Paul.

Anyway, people tell me that I look like Zach Braff, who plays J.D. and it's true, I really do look like him. lol

Ooh, DVDs! About time!

Gosh, :amen: to that!

I'm just catching up on most of season 4, and I think it was the best! Dr. Cox still kills me.

"God? My brilliance is starting to become a bit of a burden. Get back to me." haha

Indeed! I love that quote!

Also The Todd's song - "Dum dum dum dum shiny scalpel! Dum dum dum dum gonna slice you up!"

I love Scubs. It's the best, most creative comedy on TV right now and I hate NBC for treating it like a stepchild (sorta like CBS does with The Amazing Race).

Dr. Cox is my favorite and the episodes with Brendan Frasier and their plot twists were funny, sad and heartwarming at the same time.

I have so many favorite moments, but one that I can recall right now is when Kelso hands some paperwork to Ted and says "Do lawyer stuff to this." Simple, and yet hilarious.

I want..
I want..
I want Charles in Charge of me!
