I believe it's important to memorize scriptures so you can speak them out in your life, over your circumstances, and to encourage yourself with the Word. Here is a set of scriptures I would suggest. Each subsequent scripture builds on the one before it. These are from the New Living Translation. I hope this is a blessing to someone...
Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see. (Heb 11:1)
And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him (Heb 11:6)
By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at Gods command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen. (Heb 11:3)
And this is what he says to all humanity, the fear of the Lord is true wisdom; to forsake evil is real understanding (Job 28:28)
Dont turn you back on wisdom, for she will protect you. Love her, and she will guard you. Getting wisdom is the wisest thing you can do! And whatever else you do, develop good judgment. If you prize wisdom, she will make you great. Embrace her, and she will honor you. (Pro 4:6-8)
So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor. Give all your worries and cares to God for he cares about you. (1 Pet 5:6-7)
