I believe interracial relationships are completely okay but I have people in my family which are against it. I tried to show my parents verses that tell us not to judge people based on appearance and the story of moses when aaron and miriam spake against him because he married an ethiopian. Speaking against Moses was considered a sin. (Numbers 12). Please post scriptures to prove your point on what you believe but please do not debate and argue. Let the scriptures speak for you! No one can argue against scripture because Acts 5:39 says If it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it, lest ye be haply found even to fight against God. I'm open to any belief as long as it is backed by scripture found in KJV Bible.

I don't recall there being any scripture specifically prohibiting or condoning interracial marriages because of race (meaning no real significance).

The only references that some may use against interracial marriages are in the OT where the Israelites were warned against marrying foreigners. But that wasn't because of race, but because they followed false gods.

And the Bible does state very clearly that we are not to be "unequally yoked" meaning a believer should not marry an unbeliever. I know of some people that people take that even further and say that mature Christians shouldn't marry baby Christians, not because there's necessarily anything wrong with it, but because it would create a "teacher-student" relationship when marriages should be an equal partnership.

I heard something once in like the whole Leviticus thing...that interracial marriage causes confusion. And also in the NT, that God is not the author of confusion. So I'm not sure if it goes hand in hand with that. ??

I know of no Scriptures that condemn interracial marriages but from what I understand, that can create conflicts between families, friends, co-wokers of both parties ect.

If it is truly love between them and not just "puppy love" then the couple can go for it, but they will have to be of very strong character to withstand some of the difficulties that can arise in these types of marriages.

I myself married a Mexican-American lady [I am white and German/Dutch] and that was about 34 yrs ago and we had no problems [except maybe the fact that I was a non-religious Agnostic and she was Petecostal LOL]. Not much more I can say on it.

I'd argue you aren't going to really find any verses as the whole notion of "race" (the way you are using it) is a relatively modern one (post-Columbus).

"Race" in this sense really isn't a part of the cultural milieu within which the Bible was written.
