  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man. <-----> Colossians 4:6

If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. <-----> 1st Peter 4:11

If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain. <-----> James 1:26

I said, I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle, while the wicked is before me. <-----> Psalm 39:1

For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. <-----> Matthew 12:37

Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts. <-----> Isaiah 6:5

Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips. <-----> Psalm 141:3

Help, LORD; for the godly man ceaseth; for the faithful fail from among the children of men. <-----> Psalm 12:1

Be pleased, O LORD, to deliver me: O LORD, make haste to help me. <-----> Psalm 40:13

O spare me, that I may recover strength, before I go hence, and be no more. <-----> Psalm 39:13

For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.
The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.
Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the LORD will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.
<-----> Psalm 5:4-6

Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. <-----> Psalm 51:2

Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me. <-----> Psalm 119:133

Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression. <-----> Psalm 19:13

My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing unto thee; and my soul, which thou hast redeemed. <-----> Psalm 71:23

For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy. <-----> Psalm 61:3

To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever. <-----> Psalm 30:12

Amen .

Wonderful verses to remember everyday. We never know who is watching us and by our simple actions may come to know our Lord and Saviour.
God Bless you!

Amen !

Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;
While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear.
<-----> 1st Peter 3:1+2

Glad to share with those who care !

May The Lord Be Pleased !

You're welcome EarthMomma ,

Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: <-----> Proverbs 3:3

For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
<-----> Hebrews 8:10-12

Thanks be to God , and our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ !!
