The shattered cities will rise again,
The martyred will once more stand,
The Beast defeated will be cast down
All Glory to the Son Of Man!
All the tears will be forgotten,
All voices will rise as one,
Praising as the night is torn,
Eclipsed by the Light of the Son.

Thanks for the praise. No, I'm not published. Not sure I need another source of rejection, lol. This is great, you should have your poems Published?
Quietness
"Be still and know that I am God,"
That I who made and gave thee life
Will lead thy faltering steps aright;
That I who see each sparrow's fall
Will hear and heed thy earnest call.
I am God.
"Be still and know that I am God,"
When aching burdens crush thy heart,
Then know I form thee for thy part
And purpose in the plan I hold.
Trust in God.
"Be still and know that I am God,"
Who made the atom's tiny span
And set it moving to My plan,
That I who guide the stars above
Will guide and keep thee in My love.
Be thou still.

In 1974, our whole family was crammed into an Oldsmobile for the move from california to Arizona. At 11a.m. on July 12, the engine blew 273 miles from Tucson (I knew this because the sign taunted me for two days). With little money and no hope close by, my stepdad had no choice but to hitch to Yuma where a friend could get us a ride home. That left my mom and six kids sitting in a car for 18 hours. Strangers helped on both sides of this trial - my stepdad got almost nonstop rides to Yuma, and we were given water from people stopping by. When we told folks we couldn't repay their generosity, they told us to pass it on.She hath done what she could
(Mark 14:8)
Little-Big Things
Lord, let me do the little things
Which may fall to my lot;
Those little inconspicuous ones
By others oft forgot.
If, like the Master, I can give
Myself for those I love,
Rich joy and peace shall come to me,
Sweet rest in heaven above.
I know not when the day shall close,
But when life's curfew rings,
I want my Lord to find me then
Still doing kindly things.

Little Random Acts of Kindness:
A young woman went through the grocery check-out, but did not have enough money to pay for her purchase. I watched an older woman next in line reach into her wallet and pull out a couple extra bills which she then gave to the young woman for the outstanding balance.

In May 1994, I was just out of the Army and heading to south Texas when I passed a disabled car on the highway. The driver was a young Marine still in uniform and his wife and newborn child. I turned around, got them a wrecker and a motel room out of my discharge money. When the Marine tried to get my address to repay me as he could, I told him words that I'm sure have the Lord's approval: Just pass it on.
God's given us a wallet without a bottom or credit limit. In it is abounding love, meant to be given freely and joyfully to the people in our lives, all of them. So, if you feel loved today, by all means, pass it on.

Jesus came on this earth
To pay the price for us
So that we wouldn't have to pay
And that He did it all for us
And our sins and to save us
From eternal separation from Him
But also from heaven
So that we can be in heaven with Him
On that glorious day when He will come back again
Know that it isn't the best poem but I sure
Tried to give it a shot
Hope that you like it!
Blessed Hands
The Lord looked down from the heavenly place,
And searched the whole world through
For those who were working in love for Him,
And he found but very few.
Said the Lord: "They shall labor not in vain
Though the earth is dark with woe,
I will strengthen the hands of them that toil,
I will bless the fields they sow."

The Life That Counts
The life that counts must hopeful be,
in darkest night make melody.
Must wait the dawn on bended knee--
This is the life that counts.
The life that counts is linked with God.
And turns not from the cross--the rod,
But walks with joy where Jesus trod--
This is the life that counts.
