  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

1) GOD IS ALWAYS SOVEREIGN
The Bible STARTS, CONTINUES AND ENDS WITH GOD: For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen. (Romans 11:36)

2) MAN IS ALWAYS RESPONSIBILE
God's sovereignty and man's responsibility always run hand in hand with each other.

3) SALVATION IS ALWAYS FREE, by GRACE
If salvation is by anything other than free grace, as stated in Ephesians 2:8-9 & Titus 3:5 etc., then God is under an obligation and therefore less than sovereign.

Good thought.

When I read the title I was thinking of something i learned to live a full Christian life.

A three legged stool

Piety ( our prayer and worship) Study ( scripture ) Action( works foreordained for us to do)

If any of the legs fall off the stool will not stand.

In the same way if your stool is missing a leg, we have an incomplete picture of God and His work
