Scrapbooks!

They're so much fun! How many of you are planning on making one for your kids? I'm in the midst of making one for my daughter now (4 months old) and having a blast! But man oh man, it's an expensive hobby!

Here's some advice for those of you considering scrapbooks -- take TONS of pictures! And instead of paying for double prints, I just get a single set made, and then use the photo center at walmart to make my copies. I can do it myself, crop it, zoom in, get rid of red-eye, enlarge or whatever I want, and it's cheap and doesn't involve me cutting up my originals!

So, are any fellow scrapbookers out there? Let's chat!

Yeah im a scrapbooker but i just do it when i can. Im still doing my 6yr old's baby scrapbook but i have her kinda in on scrapbooking. Im collecting scrapbooking supplies when i have the money but right now i dont have the time or space to scrapbook with going to school now lol.

I'm a wanna be scrapbooker. LOL

I have started a few pages but that's about it so far. I love doing it. I really want to get my son and daughter's baby books done before the new baby gets here. At this point I don't think that is a realistic goal. LOL.

I'm starting mine already and my baby hasn't been born yet... I ordered a nice book that hasn't come yet but I am already planning things to collect. I plan on putting everything from ultrasound pictures to the newspaper front cover on the day the baby is born into it.

good idea... i am gonna do that too.... i even saved my pregnancy test to put in there.

I kept my pregnancy tests too as well as took close up pictures of them as I'm not really sure I want to keep the pregnancy tests themselves forever.

I kept my test as well. =) Oh, and I ordered one of those "on the day you were born" certificates for my daughter. It's really neat, it tells what the headlines were, what movies were out, which celebrities are hot, the prices of a gallon of milk, and things like that. Really great things for her to read one day! They also sent me a smaller version of it for free, and I included that one in her scrapbook...too cute!

I just started my scrapbook yesterday...I have had so many cool ideas for the coming up birth of our baby...I wanna do them all...I started out with a conception journal...now I will have a pregnancy journal and a scrapbook...I found these really cool scrapbooking supplies at the dollar tree here in our town...I got the book, page kits...jaggy little scissors...the glue...all for under 6.00. and they even had those little accents you can put on the pages...like flowers and ladybugs made out of felt...i only got enough for about four pages right now...but I dont have alot to put in there. I want to include some quotes from my journal and poems and such.
